Hi, we’re Tom and Romana.
We are Czech, and since 2023 Aarhus has been our home. Moving here taught us what every company learns when it enters a new market: the rules are written down, but how things really work is not. You learn that by showing up, asking, getting it wrong — and trying again.
Tom spent more than 20 years in finance and ERP transformation, leading projects across Europe. Today he runs adoptverve and the Denmark ⇄ Czechia business corridor, together with Mikael — a Dane living in Czechia, and our partner on market-entry projects.
Romana is a teacher at heart. She taught English and PE at primary schools, a grammar school and a business academy in Czechia. In Denmark she has taught Czech to Danish students and brought Czech teachers into Danish schools. Now she designs and guides educational stays in Denmark for Czech schools — her first one brought 40 students from two schools here for a week.
Outside work you will find us at Czech–Danish community evenings in Aarhus, and still learning Danish, one conversation at a time.
